During a commercial break on the August 28th episode of WWE Raw, Lawler was brought out by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, much to the delight of fans in attendance.
Lawler, known affectionately as “The King,” is a legendary figure in the wrestling world. Throughout his career, he made Memphis his home and became an icon in the territory. His contributions to the industry are numerous, and he continues to be revered by fans and fellow wrestlers alike.
This recent appearance on WWE Raw follows Lawler’s video message during the WWE Hall of Fame 2023 ceremony. Lawler suffered a stroke that occurred in February, leading to his admission to the ICU in Florida. Jerry Lawler rallied fairly quickly as just a few days after his admission it was reported that he had been removed from the ICU as his health seemed to improve.
Despite positive updates on his health following his stroke, the 73-year-old, unfortunately, had to pull out of some convention appearances that were scheduled for early August.
