Jeff Hardy is set to use his long-time singles entrance theme ‘No More Words’ for the first time in over a decade, according to a new report.
Speculation around when fans could expect to hear the iconic theme again has been rife ever since Hardy himself confirmed its return to BT Sport last September, revealing that it was a key part of his resigning with WWE (transcript via Comicbook):
“No More Words, when we do get in front of a crowd again, that was apart of me re-signing, I was like ‘If we get in front of people again I would like to use ‘No More Words’ again because I know y’all want it, so that was the deal for me re-signing.”
Now Dave Meltzer has given an update via the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, reporting that the theme will return next month as part of WWE’s return to touring – though an exact date was not specified.
This will be the first time Jeff Hardy has used the theme in over a decade, last using it on the August 25th 2009 edition of SmackDown. On that show, ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ unsuccessfully challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Loser Leaves WWE Steel Cage match. After which, he departed the company and later joined TNA.
