Jeff Hardy – “Im Going To End My Career In AEW”

Jeff Hardy AEW

Jeff Hardy made his triumphant return to All Elite Wrestling on the April 12th edition of Dynamite.

The star had not been seen on TV since he was arrested on multiple DUI-related offences in June 2022 and suspended without pay by AEW. Hardy attended a rehabilitation facility to work on his issues before his DUI case was settled in February.

On Dynamite, Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy were being beaten down by The Firm before Hook ran in to save the day. However, despite briefly being on the back foot, The Firm was quickly back in control until Jeff Hardy entered to a loud ovation.

Jeff took out the group with a chair before hitting a crowd-pleasing Swanton Bomb on Lee Moriarty.

Jeff Hardy will retire in AEW

On the latest episode of Rampage, Hardy addressed the fans to let them know he appreciates them.

He went on to reveal that he is back in AEW to end his career on a high note instead of “a depressing low”.

“Hello everyone!

“Man, it is super cool to be back in this elite world. Nine months ago I didn’t think this was even possible. I’ve worked so hard to reach this moment right now.

“Thank you. Thank you so much. I’m trying really hard to love myself again. And with that said, I think the smartest thing for me to do is retire…

“…from screwing up!

“I’m here in AEW to end my career on an extremely high note instead of a depressing low. I love each and every one of you. We’ll see, and time will tell. The future is waiting for us to prevail!”

Since the reunion of The Hardy Boyz, Matt Hardy has challenged The Firm to a “Firm Deletion Match”. While the exact details are unknown, we know it will see him and Jeff alongside Hook and Isiah Kassidy facing the team of Big Bill, Lee Moriarty, Ethan Page, and Stokely Hathaway.
