Jeff Hardy has opened up about one of the scariest moments of 2020 for viewers – when his brother Matt’s head crashed off the concrete at AEW All Out.
Hardy was competing in a Broken Rules Match with Sammy Guevara at All Out. The match started backstage in Daily’s Place with Hardy taking a fall through a table from an elevated position. Speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, The Charismatic Enigma opened up about his brother’s scary situation, revealing his concern while watching from home.
”Terrifying! When he tried to get up and then he fell down – when you hit your head hard, that’s scary stuff… That was scary, man, with Matt – flesh on concrete, it was scary when he couldn’t walk. Gosh, man – thank God he’s OK, but that’s part of the game.”
While Matt and Jeff Hardy are both plying their trade in different promotions now, one of their most memorable moments as a tag team was only a matter of years ago – returning at WrestleMania 33. In a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, The Good Brothers opened up about standing in the ring during that moment, with Karl Anderson discussing how it was one of the coolest things he’s experienced.
“You know, to be in that ring, though, when their music hit was one of the coolest things that anybody could ever experience! For us to be in the middle of the ring when that music hit, to hear that and feel it, man, it was it was cool, man.”
Wrestling fans can watch Jeff Hardy on Monday Night Raw every week on BT Sport 1 and Matt Hardy on AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays via Fite TV.
