Jeff Hardy is taking at least one booking outside of AEW.
The younger Hardy brother has been on a small hiatus from All Elite Wrestling due to his recent legal issues not allowing up north in Canada, but Jeff looks like he’ll at least keep busy during SummmerSlam weekend.
Game Changer Wrestling took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that Hardy will be a part of their “My Name Is GCW” event in Detroit the Friday before WWE’s big premium live event. Also scheduled for the event is Lio Rush vs. Mike Bailey, Komander vs. Joey Janela, Nick Gage, Blake Christian, Masha Slamovich, Gringo Loco and Bussy.

Jeff Hardy Back On The Right Track
Jeff Hardy made his return to wrestling back on the April 12 episode of “AEW Dynamite” but according to his brother Matt Hardy on a recent episode of “Extreme Life With Matt Hardy” Jeff will not be wrestling for other independent promotions so this GCW stint may just strictly be an appearance venture. Even with appearances outside of AEW, Matt says Jeff only wants to do two of them a month and his older brother respects that decision.
Hardy appears to be on a way better path following his DUI last year that led to his arrest and his long exit from the ring. Many questioned if he’d ever make a return back to the ring, even Matt, who just was hoping the best for his brother. Hardy’s legal situation all got rectified earlier this past February.
