Jeff And Matt Hardy “100% Ready” To Defend TNA Tag-Titles Against WWE Hall Of Famers

Matt Hardy And Jeff Hardy Returning To WWE

Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy are “100% ready” for this challenge.

Last year on 26th October, The Hardy Boyz won their third TNA World Tag Team Championship. Already 151 days in as the champions, the brothers have defended their gold against multiple deserving duos. However, they recently shared their thoughts on facing a former threat.

The early 2000s’ WWE tag-team was arguably ruled by The Hardyz and The Dudley Boyz. Throughout their feuds, both teams engaged in multiple memorable matches. During a recent interview with Tim Battle and Eli on the Battleground podcast, The Hardy Boyz discussed a final match with the Dudley Boyz.

“Please. I think we’re ready. Are you ready? Myself and Jeff, we’re 100% ready. We’re up every morning, we’re doing our ice baths, our cold plunges, we’re busting our ass, we’re working out, we’re trying to stay in tip-top shape, to be middle-aged men. We are ready. We would love to face the middle-aged Dudleys. So as long as Bully and D-Von, they’re ready to rock and roll, we are ready at the drop of a dime. We’ll put the TNA titles up. Hell, maybe we’ll be the NXT champions. We’ll put the NXT titles up. Who knows? Why don’t they bring their old-school ECW titles? I’m sure they’ve got some replicas. Put those on the line.”

D-Von Dudley returned to the ring in September 2023 and had two matches in 2024, but has not wrestled since. Whereas, Bubba Ray Dudley was active in the Indies, and wrestled his last match back on 6th November 2024.

Recently, D-Von Dudley expressed his hope of bringing back a Ruthless Aggression gimmick he feels wasn’t given enough time.

Matt Hardy Becomes Critical Of John Cena’s First Heel Promo

Speaking on his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast. veteran Matt Hardy shared his thoughts on John Cena’s March 17th heel promo.

“I liked it. I think what I liked about it the most is the fact that he didn’t change and the explanation he gave for it is that people are asking what are we going to get that is new, what are we going to get that is new, what’s new, new, new, what are we going to get and he’s like, ‘You don’t get anything. You get this. Keep in mind, I don’t dress like you, you dress like me.’ I dug that.”

“Probably the only thing I would be critical of is just maybe if they would have kind of delved into why he chose to side with Rock like that, that would have been the only thing I feel like I would’ve loved to heard from. I dug it man, I thought he did a real good job at just being a whiny, bitchy guy who just felt like he’d been wronged and he came off very unlikable while doing it, which is I think what you need out of John Cena.”
