Jay White Set For Huge Grudge Match At AEW Full Gear

Jay White will get his hands on Adam Page again at AEW Full Gear.

At WrestleDream, Jay White defeated ‘Hangman’ Adam Page for the fourth time in their careers. The pair squared off twice in NJPW and three times in AEW, with Page finally getting his single victory in the 2024 Owen Hart Cup Semi-Finals back in July this year.

After his loss at WrestleDream, Page went after White again, this time costing him a match against Christian Cage on the October 16th episode of Dynamite. The next week, Page fended off an attack from Colten Gunn after cutting a promo on The Bang Bang Gang. Just as he was about to wrap his belt around Gunn’s neck, White and Juice Robinson came to his aid, chasing away Page, who was noticeably limping.

On October 26th during an episode of Collision that saw Wheeler Yuta embracing his actions against Bryan Danielson, White defeated Shane Taylor before getting on the microphone to challenge Page to a match at Full Gear on November 23rd.

“Despite the year that you’ve had Hangman, you’re still hellbent on coming after me. Now, is that because, despite how tough and how good Hangman is supposed to be, at every little bend of our careers, I’ve always been ahead of you Hangman! I’m sure you would beg to differ, I’m sure you would love to argue that, but a 4-1 – really 5-0 – record means that you don’t have a leg to stand on. Quite literally.

“So, I hope that you’re rehabbing your knee. I’m sure you’re planning, scheming, taking aim. I’m sure you wanna lasoo that little belt around my neck, throw me over this top rope and leave me there until somebody has to pry your grip off the other end. But Hangman, you’d best not miss, because one misstep with me will cost you, just like you know oh so well.

“Hangman, this is the year of redemption, so I’m gonna give you one more chance. One more time, Hangman vs. Switchblade at Full Gear.”

Adam Page Will Address Jay White’s Challenge On AEW Dynamite

Following White’s challenge, Tony Khan made the match official for Full Gear. Later, it was announced that Page will appear on the special Fright Night Dynamite on October 30th, where he will address the upcoming match.
