Slammiversary was a night full of surprises but none more so than the shock of appearance of Jay White who confronted his former Bullet Club stablemate Kenny Omega.
Following a brutal, bloody and violent war with Sami Callihan, Kenny Omega barely held on to his IMPACT World Championship with help from both The Good Brothers and Don Callis. As the quadruple title holder celebrated his victory, however, the lights went out and the opening riff of the Bullet Club’s theme played – being quickly followed by the theme of ‘Switchblade’ Jay White.
White entered the IMPACT Zone holding his NEVER Openweight Championship and eyed the AEW, AAA and TNA World Heavyweight Championships Omega had left on the entrance ramp before stepping into the ring to face the former Bullet Club leader. The two had an intense staredown before Omega and The Good Brothers slowly raised the Two Sweet as a sign of unity. Before Jay could respond though, the show went off the air.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, who attended the show in person, reported shortly after that Juice Robinson and David Finlay ran in as the broadcast ended and attacked their fellow NJPW star. White easily fended off the assault, however, hitting Robinson with a Blade Runner before exiting the ring.

Omega and White have a deep-rooted history, having faced off several times in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Currently, both men are tied at one win each in singles matches with White dethroning Omega to become the second-ever IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion in their last one-on-one encounter nearly three and a half years ago.
