Jay Lethal Is All Elite, Set For Huge Title Match On Dynamite

Jay Lethal

Former Ring of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling star Jay Lethal has arrived in AEW and he’s already bagged himself a huge title match on Dynamite!

While AEW All Out in September was a night of surprises and debuts, Full Gear still came up with a surprise or two of it’s own.

After a brutal and chaotic Minneapolis Street Fight between the Inner Circle and The Men of the Year & American Top Team, Tony Schiavone headed up the ramp promising an announcement. The legendary announcer then promptly brought out AEW’s latest signing. Jay Lethal.

The former ROH World Champion immediately confirmed that he was “All Elite” before calling out Sammy Guevara. Lethal said that he wanted Guevara’s TNT Championship but couldn’t face him just yet because he’d just had a match. But there was nothing stopping the pair having a match on Dynamite in four days time.

At this, the TNT Champion appeared to accept the challenge.

Jay Lethal began his in-ring career in 2001, before arriving in Ring Of Honor two years later. He went on to team with the likes of Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson before clashing later squaring off against CM Punk.

Lethal began appearing for TNA/IMPACT Wrestling in 2005, remaining with the company until 2011 when he returned to ROH. During his time with IMPACT Jay Lethal won the X Division Championship six times, also capturing the Tag Team Championships.

After returning to ROH, Lethal won the ROH World Championship before appearing in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Lethal was most recently in action on October 22nd where he defeated Homicide.
