Jade Cargill Set For Shock WWE Switch

Jade Cargill

According to a new report Jade Cargill is WWE bound.

Jade Cargill only returned to AEW on the September 9th edition of Collision, but it seems she won’t be around for long. The appearance was Cargill’s first since she lost the TBS Championship and her undefeated streak to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing.

On Collision, Cargill attacked Stantlander, setting up a rematch with the gold on the line. Fast forward to Dynamite and the match was confirmed for the September 15th episode of Rampage. With the show being taped following Dynamite, it’s been revealed that Cargill lost that rematch.

It’s now been reported by Fightful Select that Cargill lost the match because that set of tapings was likely her last. Furthermore, sources within WWE and AEW believe that the star is about to follow Cody Rhodes to the sports entertainment giant.

This note does come with the caveat that there’s no confirmation of an official approach being made.

Despite this, there’s a strong rumour within both rosters that Cargill is going to sign with WWE.

Has Jade Cargill Been In WWE Before?

Although Jade Cargill has never been signed to WWE previously, she did attend a tryout back in 2019. During this period, Mark Henry became something of a mentor to the star and she signed with AEW in 2020 making her debut that November.

This appearance set up a match where she teamed with Shaquille O’Neal to take on Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. The victory was the start of a 60-match undefeated streak, during which she captured the TBS Title.

The star wouldn’t taste defeat until being pinned by Statlander at Double or Nothing 2023.

It has been reported that Jade Cargill is set for a major WWE push when she joins the company.
