Jade Cargill has finally made her in-ring return.
Currently involved in a feud against former ally Naomi, Jade Cargill participated in her first wrestling match in over four months. Her last match was on the 11th November episode of Raw.
On the March 21st episode of SmackDown in Bologna, Italy, Cargill faced off against Liv Morgan.
While the former tag-champ entered the match as a heavy favorite, the tides soon turned against her. Enjoying a pleasant evening, Liv Morgan first received her own ‘Mona Lisa’ tribute from the fans, and later defeated Cargill, to earn her victory.
Marking her first singles match since August 2024, Cargill looked sharp throughout her bout. In the match’s final minutes, Naomi interfered and cost Cargill her victory. As Raquel Rodriguez distracted the referee, Naomi hit Cargill with the title belt, and Morgan followed it up with ‘The ObLIVion’ and scored the pinfall.
Jade Cargill has been presented as an extremely dominating woman on the roster, and this marked her first singles pinfall loss in her WWE career. Her last singles loss was against Nia Jax, which she lost via DQ on the 17th May episode of SmackDown.
More Details On Jade Cargill And Shayna Baszler’s Backstage Confrontation
A few days ago, reports emerged about Jade Cargill and Shayna Baszler’s backstage heat. Both Dave Meltzer and Fightful Select consistently updated fans on the situation with their reports.
However, recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, provided more recent updates on the Cargill-Baszler situation.
“The heat was the claim by other women that when there were problems in the ring, she’d blame the other person and was disrespectful. One incident described by Sean Ross Sapp was Cargill, after the issues, saying that Baszler didn’t know how to work, which obviously didn’t endear her to anyone. The specific confrontation was Cargill pointing to a bruise on her arm and her telling Baszler that she needed to learn how to work and Baszler responding that if she was shooting that you and I would both know.”
