Since making her debut on the November 11th, 2020 edition of Dynamite, Jade Cargill has become one of the company’s biggest stars.
On her first appearance, she made a splash by teasing the AEW debut of Shaquille O’Neal. On March 3rd, 2021, she had her first match ring when she and Shaq defeated the team of Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet.
This began an undefeated streak which Cargill has continued to this day, currently standing at 48-0. The only match she didn’t emerge victorious from was the Casino Battle Royale at All Out in 2021, however, that is not considered an official loss on her record.
On October 21st, 2021, Jade Cargill entered a tournament to crown the first TBS Champion. She fought through Red Velvet, Thunder Rosa, and then Ruby Soho to capture the title.
Jade Cargill breaks AEW record
Since winning the TBS Championship, Cargill has successfully defended it against all-comers including Anna Jay, Athena, and Nyla Rose. As the first champion, she is also setting the record for the longest-reigning with the belt.
However, after passing 372 days as champion, she has broken a company-wide record to become the longest-reigning champion in all of AEW. The record was previously held by Hikaru Shida, who was the company’s Women’s World Champion for 372 days between 2020 and 2021.
Cargill commented on the achievement on social media, noting that it’s only her second year.
“Another check in the record books. I mean itโs only my second year”

Cargill last defended the TBS Championship at Battle of the Belts V. There, she was challenged by Skye Blue in a match that was widely praised as one of Cargill’s best since she started wrestling. In the end, Cargill overcame her challenger by impressively turning her from a Powerbomb into a position from where she could hit her Jaded finisher.
