Bianca Belair Addresses Shock Jade Cargill Attack At WWE Elimination Chamber

Jade Cargill is allegedly experiencing heat within WWE,

On 1st March 2025, ex tag-team champion Jade Cargill returned to the promotion after almost three months, and launched an attack on Naomi. With fans still unsure about which star attacked Cargill back in November, Naomi and Bianca Belair are highly suspected.

However, Cargill’s return has also brought forward a new controversial revelation. Following her return, Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer, reported on Jade Cargill facing backstage heat with former NXT women’s champion, Shayna Baszler.

“There was a confrontation that took place a few months ago before the Cargill injury involving Cargill and Baszler. It’s been confirmed by a half dozen people that it happened but nobody went into details past Cargill had rubbed enough people in the Raw women’s division the wrong way and Baszler was wanting to fight her until management found out and calmed the situation down.”

Soon, Fightful Select confirmed the report, and noted that WWE superstars have remained silent about what happened between the two. Taking issue with something, Cargill had asked Baszler about learning how to work. Fightful claimed that it was regarding a spot at the 2024 Clash at the Castle, where Cargill tapped out to Baszler, which was not supposed to be the match’s finish.

It was further suggested that Cargill was disappointed with herself with how things went down, and was apologetic backstage. Upon her return, the situation got more tense, when Cargill’s promo talked about “demanding respect” and being surrounded by wolves in the shape of women all around her. It was reported that multiple talents in the locker room took the comment personally.

However, this is not all. Cargill’s recent absence has reportedly also caused a backstage uproar.

Further, in the report, it was noted that Cargill’s absence for nearly three months also drew backstage heat on her. As per Fightful Select, Cargill had asked for an off during the Holiday Tour but was told it was mandatory. Following which, she suffered an injury, the validity of which was suspected by many in the locker room.

During this period, multiple reports emerged talking about how legit the injury was while others denied it. Fightful was informed by WWE higher-ups that Cargill was injured. Cargill expressed willingness to return to WWE television prior to her Elimination Chamber appearance; however, WWE opted to await medical clearance. This resulted in several weeks of Cargill training before the television return.

Later, Fightful further updated that sources close to Cargill claimed that she did not ask off for the holidays, contrary to the word in the locker room.
