Jacob Fatu Almost Injured Top WWE Star Early In His Career; Immediate Regrets

Jacob Fatu WWE alliance teased

Jacob Fatu almost hurt a top WWE star early in his career and shows instant regret.

Jacob Fatu only joined WWE in 2024, but has quickly won fans over just a few months into his run, all thanks to his impressive and notable run in the independent scene from 2012 to 2019, performing in companies like Major League Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Just around 7 months after debuting in the Stamford-based promotion, he began feuding with one of the biggest stars in the company today, LA Knight. Not only that, but the feud resulted in a WrestleMania singles match in which The Samoan Werewolf eventually won the United States Championship.

Although both men are enemies on-screen, it seems like the animosity doesn’t extend behind the scenes. Interestingly, the former United States Champion was even apologetic for almost causing serious injury to The Megastar during a past match.

Jacob Fatu Revealed His Knee Almost Collided With LA Knight’s Face

While talking to The Rich Eisen Show, Jacob Fatu was asked if he ever accidentally hit somebody a little too hard. The Samoan Werewolf admits that during a past match with LA Knight, his knee “came down” on his opponent while performing a backflip.

So, I mean, I think I backflipped on Knight’s face before. I did. Yeah. I backflip man, man, man. My whole knee came down on bro. Hey, man, we be having good. Hey, most of the time. I’m on point. You know what I mean?”

Jacob then talked about how he also doesn’t like getting hit by Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo. After telling his story, he joked that he shouldn’t have revealed that information about Knight, but still gave his former opponent a shoutout.

Damn. I probably should have never said that. But shout out to L.A. Shout out to L.A.”
