Jack Perry’s AEW Promo Suffers Hilarious Botch

Details Of Jack Perry's Scrapped Glass Pitch For AEW Collision Revealed

Jack Perry’s promo on AEW Dynamite suffered a shocking yet hilarious botch.

Perry is currently a part of The Elite’s squad and was involved in the Blood & Guts show a couple of weeks ago. Toward the concluding stages of the match, The Young Bucks promised Allin a shot at Perry’s TNT Championship at All In.

However, as Perry performed a promo during the first hour of the 7th August episode of Dynamite, fans witnessed a shocking botch. As Perry addressed his upcoming match against Darby Allin at AEW All In, a sudden Taco Bell ad popped up leaving fans surprised.

Wrestling fans on the internet soon observed this and started talking about it. In between The Jungle Boy’s promo, a $7 Taco Bell combo advertisement popped up on fan’s television screens.

Effectively ruining the seriousness of Perry’s video, fans were instead left to cherish the absurd humor the advertisement brought in.

AEW Star Opens Up On Controversial Jack Perry Chair Shot

After the violent Blood and Guts match, a member of The Elite opened up the controversial chair shot to Jack Perry towards the end of the match. AEW EVP Nick Jackson addressed the issue and provided an update on his teammate during an interview with Sports Illustrated.

All I know is Jack is fine, and that’s all that matters, we know the risk we’re taking in the ring and it wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t prepared for it.”

The unprotected chair shot was performed between Briscoe and Perry, while the latter was cuffed to the cage wall. Arguably one of the most violent matches in a long time, the bout lived up to its name and set up the path for Perry versus Allin later this month in London.
