Jack Perry Sent Home From AEW All In

Jack Perry has been sent home from Wembley Stadium.

Following a physical altercation backstage with CM Punk, Jack Perry has been sent home from AEW All In.

As reported by multiple outlets, Punk and Perry got into a confrontation just moments before Punk walked through the curtain to face Samoa Joe. The incident came after Perry took a shot at Punk during his pre-show match with Hook.

Just before taking a suplex on a limo, Perry said into the camera “real glass, cry me a river,” a reference to a backstage disagreement with Punk where the veteran tried to advise Perry against using real glass in a segment. It was reported that Jack Perry “threw a temper tantrum” at being told the spot was dangerous. Furthermore, it was claimed that Perry had one eye on getting injured so he could take some time off.

It’s now been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that Perry has been sent home. The report from Johnson notes that the “prevailing story” is that Perry confronted Punk and there was pushing between the pair. The initial story suggested that Punk struck Perry, but the version coming to the fore is that Perry was caught in a choke.

Punk is still at the venue but “Perry was ordered to leave.”
