At AEW Double or Nothing, the highly anticipated Anarchy in the Arena match pitted The Elite (The Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada) against Team AEW (Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler) in a tumultuous and action-packed encounter.
The match commenced with immediate chaos as Danielson and FTR instigated an assault on The Elite during their entrance. The Young Bucks and Danielson engaged in a battle over the arena’s sound system, with each faction demanding their preferred theme song, culminating in the playing of “The Final Countdown” at Danielson’s behest.
As the match unfolded, the competitors engaged in a relentless brawl that traversed various areas of the arena, including the crowd, concourse, and parking lot. The intensity escalated rapidly, highlighted by Allin’s daring Coffin Drop from a balcony.
Amid the bedlam, Jack Perry appeared to physically confront Tony Khan, only to be met by Allin wielding a flamethrower, resulting in Perry being set on fire before swift intervention from The Young Bucks extinguished the flames.
The mayhem continued, featuring thumbtack-studded shoes and explosive chairs, culminating in a series of brutal encounters. Subsequently, Allin was subjected to further punishment by The Elite, ultimately being suspended from the ceiling by his ankles as The Young Bucks delivered punishing superkicks.
In a stunning conclusion, Perry blindsided Danielson with a decisive running knee, securing the pinfall victory for The Elite in a match characterised by unbridled chaos and high-stakes action.
