Jack Perry Commends Rob Van Dam Following AEW Dynamite

Rob Van Dam with Jack Perry

Despite his heelish ways Jack Perry knows how to give credit where credit is due even if it is in effort at getting himself over.

Perry weaseled his way into a win on AEW Dynamite against the legendary Rob Van Dam who had the former Jungle Boy down for the three count. However, referee Bryce Remsburg was knocked out and couldn’t administer the pinfall. Aubrey Edwards slid in to make the count, but it was too little too late and Perry seized the moment to low blow RVD and send him into a steel chair in the corner before rolling him up for the 1-2-3.

Post-match, the look on Van Dam’s face told the story as Perry snuck out the W, but Rob later commented on how much he appreciated the love from the AEW fans. Perry on the other hand, did commend RVD, but the fans? Not so much.

“To all the losers on here who like to talk sh*t without ever having done anything in their lives, Rob Van Dam is STILL a world class, freak athlete, one of a kind, amazing professional wrestler. AND, beating him cements my legacy as the greatest FTW Champion to ever live.”

After Jack Perry, What Could The Future Hold For Rob Van Dam In AEW?

After such an impressive performance last night, Rob Van Dam has reportedly received high praise from AEW brass backstage and fans have certainly expressed that they want more of The Whole F’n Show under the All Elite banner.

Reports are that Van Dam just signed on for one match, however, on the latest episode of RVD’s podcast, “1 Of A Kind,” Van Dam stated “we’ll see” when asked about his future with the company.
