IYO SKY Victorious In Return To Japan

WWE Star IYO SKY Announced For International Show

WWE Superstar IYO SKY made a triumphant return to Japan.

On July 13th, Sky returned to her home country to wrestle for Japan’s newest Joshi promotion Marigold for a dream match against Utami Hayashishita.

At the promotion’s Summer Destiny 2024 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, the two former Wonder Of Stardom Champions faced off in a hard hitting match that saw the Damage CTRL member emerge victorious after 23 minutes.

The card also featured her fellow WWE performer Guilia who fought former NXT Star Sareee in the main event. The two met a match to crown the inaugural Marigold World Champion, which saw Sareee win the promotion’s top title.

Guilia returned to action after suffering an injury in the first ever Marigold show, which has delayed her NXT debut.

This was the promotion’s 14th event since its introduction earlier this year. Rossy Ogawa launched the promotion following his sudden departure from World Wonder Ring Stardom.

When Did IYO SKY Last Wrestle In Japan?
