Iyo Sky Makes History At WWE WrestleMania 41

Iyo Sky Poised To Make History At WWE Survivor Series

Iyo Sky now finds herself in history books following her WrestleMania 41 victory.

In the opening match of WrestleMania 41 night 2, Sky successfully defended her championship in a match against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. In an extremely well-appreciated match, Sky created history following her successful retention.

Defeating the duo of Ripley and Belair, Iyo Sky became the first Japanese woman to win a WrestleMania match. Extending her triple-threat record to 4-0, Sky retained her gold over two of the top women stars in the promotion. In the final stages of the bout, Sky hit a Moonsault on both women before pinning Belair to take home the victory.

Entering the match, Sky was viewed as an afterthought between the two stalwarts. However, at the end of the match, Sky proved who the real threat was.

Iyo Sky Becomes The Reason For Another Unfortunate Milestone

In the opening match of the night, Sky pinned Bianca Belair to take home the victory. However, this also marked the first time Bianca Belair was pinned at WrestleMania. Letting both their emotions get the better of them, Belair and Ripley fell short in their title pursuit.

In other news: AJ Styles has opened up on his decision to not enter the TNA Hall of Fame.

A few days after the match, Iyo Sky made history again along with Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair.
