Dave Meltzer had some harsh words for one recent WWE match, branding it “terrible,” adding that one of the performers shouldn’t even be in the ring.

On the July 12th episode of NXT 2.0 Indi Hartwell defeated Lash Legend in a little under four minutes. However, the match didn’t go at all smoothly with Hartwell failing to hit a Springboard Elbow before eventually picking up the win.

After the match Alba Fyre chased Lash Legend off with a baseball bat.

While reviewing NXT 2.0 on Wrestling Observer Radio, both Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez had some choice words of the match featuring Hartwell and Legend. Meltzer said that Legend shouldn’t be in the ring on television at this point in her career, before Alvarez derided the bout as a “disaster.”

Dave Meltzer: “This was a legit negative star match. I don’t know if it was the worst match of the year, but it was absolutely a candidate for the worst match of the year. This was ungodly awful. It was like, they couldn’t work together, Lash Legend can’t do anything. She should absolutely not be in the ring at this stage. It’s like, every third move is off. Then Indi Hartwell was going to do a Springboard…

Bryan Alvarez: “The irony is, it’s Lash that can’t do anything but Indi goes of the one thing that she can do, which is a Springboard. But she slips and falls off the ropes, Lash sells it anyway, and she goes for a cover and Indi reverses it and pins her.

Oh my Lord. This was a disaster!”

Elsewhere on the show, Cora Jade shockingly turned on her tag team partner Roxanne Perez, just one week after the pair won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.
