Rumors are swirling about Vince McMahon potentially buying back WWE, but will he actually do it?
Over the last few days, there have been reports suggesting that Vince McMahon is looking to get back into the pro wrestling business. Now, this isn’t exactly news, as there have been rumors about him wanting to start a new company for quite some time now. However, this time things are different.
According to some of the latest reports, Vince McMahon is keen on buying back WWE from TKO. It has been more than a year since the former Chairman resigned from the company, but now, despite all the controversy surrounding him with the Janel Grant case, there are rumors he wants back in.
Well, PWN Reports has reported that this is not the case. Masked J, the founder of PWN, recently tweeted that he was told that TKO has no intention of selling WWE. Furthermore, a source “chuckled” at the idea of McMahon purchasing it back.
I was given word that TKO is not interested in selling off #WWE. And the source I spoke with chuckled at the thought of Vince purchasing it back. It’s very possible he may feel like he wants it back, but seems very unlikely at this point since WWE is not for sale.

Masked J also suggested that while McMahon may wish to have it back, it is highly unlikely. After all, the key point to remember is that WWE is not for sale.
John Laurinaitis was recently removed from Janel Grant’s case against WWE and Vince McMahon
As mentioned earlier, Vince McMahon is currently one of the key figures in the Janel Grant lawsuit. The former WWE employee has made some serious allegations against the former chairman and filed a case last year.
Alongside McMahon, both WWE and John Laurinaitis, who served as the Stamford-based promotion’s Head of Talent Relations between 2021 and 2022. However, it was recently revealed that Laurinaitis has been removed from the case. Reports suggest he has agreed to provide evidence as part of a confidential agreement.
So far, there has been no word from either McMahon or WWE regarding this development.
