Latest updates have emerged on Mariah May’s current contractual status.
Last seen losing to Toni Storm on the Revolution 2025 PPV on 9th March, 2025, the promising British wrestler has been off television since then. With May not involved in any current storyline, many rumors have emerged about her possibly joining WWE.
With her contract also set to expire later this year, the rumors might be getting true now. AEW’s official roster page on its website no longer has Mariah May listed. The former women’s champion was listed between Madison Rayne and Marina Shafir as of May 29th.
Her official removal from the roster page could be an indication of her departure. Soon, Fightful Select reported that May could be WWE-bound upon her contract’s expiration. Fightful Select confirmed PWInsider‘s reports of such plans while contributing more details to this emerging story.
Her 2-year contract with All Elite Wrestling is expected to expire, following which she might be done with the Jacksonville-based promotion. Following her loss to Storm in the ‘Hollywood Ending’ match, there were also no substantial creative plans for her in place. While, despite being off the promotion’s official roster page, her contract has not yet expired.
Mariah May has also pursued other endeavors, including securing representation for additional projects. Tony Khan was well aware of her leaving the company and was expected to join WWE. May had a two-year deal with AEW with no additional option year. Fightful Select’s WWE sources claimed that they had an interest in her once the promotion learnt about her availability.
While ‘The Glamour’ is expected to join World Wrestling Entertainment, no official statement has been made from either side.
When Did Mariah May Inform AEW About Her Not Signing A New Deal?
“May hasn’t been on television since the Revolution PPV which was the blow-off of her feud with Toni Storm. I noted many times that I was surprised at doing that match at that time because it was such a hot feud and didn’t need a final blow-off after just three matches. Apparently May made it clear at that time that she was not signing a new deal and so they booked it at that time for that reason.”
