A new report has provided an update on Jacob Fatu’s status following WWE Survivor Series.
At Survivor Series, WarGames lived up to its name with a brutal match between the competing versions of The Bloodline led by Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The bout featured multiple big spots, including both Jimmy Uso and Bronson Reed leaping from the top of the cage.
Unfortunately, both men suffered injuries on landing. Bronson Reed reportedly injured one, if not both, of his ankles after CM Punk saved Roman Reigns from a super Tsunami from the top of the cage, leaving Reed to go crashing through a table. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso has suffered an injured foot after performing the same move more successfully, diving onto Jacob Fatu and sending both through a table.
Jacob Fatu In WWE Survivor Series Injury Scare
Earlier in the match, Fatu left fans concerned after landing awkwardly from a Moonsault. Following the move, The Samoan Werewolf appeared to be favouring his knee, leading many to suspect he had damaged it. Now, Fightful Select has reported that Fatu was not injured, and instead made a mid-match decision to heavily sell his leg after the awkward landing.
By the end of the match, only Solo Sikoa was left standing from his team, while The OG Bloodline were still at full strength and surrounded the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief. As Sikoa went for a Somoan Spike on Reigns, he was met by Superkicks from The Usos, followed by a Helluva Kick from Sami Zayn, then a GTS from Punk, before Reigns finally hit a Spear for the pinfall victory.
