Io Shirai retained her NXT Women’s Championship against Candice LeRae despite the best efforts of the mystery Ghostface.
The second and final Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal stipulation bout was again decided by the host Shotzi Blackheart whose wheel of horrors decreed that champion and challenger would go to war in a Table, Ladders and Scares Match.
Following in her husband’s footsteps and appearing in fancy dress as the corpse bride, Candice LeRae threw everything at the champion in a thrilling bid to cover the Gargano family in gold. However, it wasn’t enough.
After using dismembered limbs as weapons, laptop shots to the head and a plethora of steel chairs all of which were bedazzled with spooky decoration, Io Shirai and LeRae were interrupted by the second appearance of the mysterious Ghostface who aided Candice in her ascent of the ladder.
Unfortunately for ‘The Poison Pixie’ and whoever was behind the mask, history did not repeat itself from earlier in the evening when Shotzi Blackheart stormed the ring and dropped the veiled menace onto a steel chair with an electric chair.
As LeRae reached for the gold, the champion pushed the ladder and watched as her challenger fell through a well placed second ladder on the outside. ‘The Genius of the Sky’ climbed the rungs and retained her gold to end the return of Halloween Havoc.
