At WWE Money In The Bank Zelina Vega participated in the Women’s MITB Ladder Match for the chance to win the coveted briefcase. It was the second time this year Vega has been in title contention so she made sure to commemorate the occasion with some special standout ring gear.
It certainly isn’t the first time the avid cosplayer and Twitch streamer has worn gear inspired by video game and anime characters. At this year’s Royal Rumble, she entered the women’s match decked out as Juri Han from Street Fighter 6, and in 2019’s rumble match, she entered as another iconic Street Fighter character, Vega, the mask-wearing, claw-wielding fighter from Spain.
Then at MITB on July 1st in London, UK she wore gear influenced by the main antagonist of one the most popular anime shows in history. Taking to social media, Vega posted a video of herself in the gear next to an image of Frieza from the Dragonball Z franchise.

Zelina Vega’s Gear Wasn’t The Her Only Standout Moment At Money In The Bank
At MITB Vega took on Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Bayley, Trish Stratus, and Iyo Sky for the opportunity to get a title shot whenever they see fit. As always the match was full of chaos and violence. One such spot saw Vega and Stark climb the ladder to try and get their hands on the contract.
The two began slugging it out before Vega executed a Code Red on Starks, flipping her off the top of the ladder and onto another waiting below. It was a breathtaking spot that left both competitors writhing in pain and the crowd cheering wildly. Unfortunately for Vega, she couldn’t capitalize on the jaw-dropping moment and the match was won by Iyo Sky.
The event also saw Judgement Day’s Damian Priest win the men’s MITB Ladder Match. Liv Morgan and Requel Rodriguez defeated Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler after the latter turned on the former. Seth Rollins also retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor and Jey Uso shockingly pinned Roman Reigns in the epic main event.
