Coming from the fallout of AEW Dynamite, a few injuries have been announced to top talent within the company, including a Dark Order member.

The AEW World Trios Championship were vacated on Dynamite, mere days after The Elite became the inaugural champions by defeating The Dark Order at All Out. AEW suspended The Elite, alongside Ace Steel and countless others involved, due to backstage issues after All Out went off the air.

A match on AEW Dynamite to crown new champions featured Death Triangle taking on Best Friends in a winning effort. It was announced during the show, however, that Alex Reynolds, who was seen on the latest Being The Elite on crutches, was injured and therefore, The Dark Order could not compete for the championships.

Other AEW stars are said to be struggling with injuries. Among them are Christian Cage and CM Punk, both of whom are said to be undergoing surgery for arm injuries and, as a result, are out of action until 2023.

CM Punk was stripped of the AEW World Championship on Dynamite after an explosive post-event media scrum where he expressed scathing opinions of EVPs, alongside ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Colt Cabana, before an alleged backstage fight.
