An injured WWE Superstar has made her highly anticipated comeback after being sidelined for nearly 10 months.
Shotzi made her return during the December 10th episode of NXT, much to the delight of the WWE Universe. Shotzi stormed back into action to save Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley from a post-match ambush by Fatal Influence, a formidable faction comprised of Jazmyn Nyx, Fallon Henley, and Jacy Jayne.
The surprise intervention occurred after Dolin and Paxley suffered a tag team loss to Nyx and Jayne, with Fallon Henley providing a critical distraction that sealed the victory for Fatal Influence.
As the trio launched a brutal attack on the defeated team, the arena erupted with cheers as Shotzi’s music hit. Making her way to the ring Shotzi evened the odds, forcing Fatal Influence to retreat and cementing her return to NXT.
Shotzi’s comeback marks the end of a gruelling recovery process following an ACL injury sustained on February 13th. The injury sidelined her for close to 10 months, leaving fans eagerly awaiting her return.
Will Shotzi Be Bringing Back Her Old Name To WWE?
It was reported that WWE filed a trademark in September for “Shotzi Blackheart” the name she used to use before she joined the SmackDown roster in 2021. The trademark filing could mean that the company plans for Shotzi to start using her old ring name again, but it could just be for archive content.
In other injury news, another WWE star is expected to be back soon.
