An injured WWE star is coming back.

After months of absence, former NXT United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate is on the verge of coming back to WWE. Out of action since July 2024, Bate has not wrestled since his tag-team match against Hank And Tank on the 2nd July episode of NXT.

Announcing his injury on the July 8th episode of Raw, Bate went on a hiatus to recover from his torn left pectoral major and tendon and even underwent surgery. Now, close to almost six months away from the roster, Bate is reportedly extremely close to his return.

In a recent report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it was noted that the former champion can get cleared for wrestling anytime now, and once done he could be back on the Monday-night Raw roster.

Before his absence, Bate was regularly teaming up with Pete Dunne as a part of the New Catch Republic. However, after Bate’s absence, Dunne underwent a major character shift and embraced his hellish side.

Despite the reports, there is no confirmed information on when fans could see the English wrestler return.
