Injured star has finally returned to WWE.
Last seen in a triple match last year on the June 17th episode of Raw, injured WWE star Kiana James has finally returned after a 396-day gap. After being out of action for over a year, James was spotted inside the squared circle tonight ahead of the June 18th edition of SmackDown.
Minutes before tonight’s SmackDown episode, James made her long-awaited return in a Main Event match against Michin. However, her appearance was not limited to that, as she also appeared on the blue brand in the background, engaging in a conversation with the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia.
Recovered from her leg injury and done with the rehab, Kiana James is now back on the main roster. Last year, in 2024, James was drafted to Raw from NXT. However, she would only appear on the show a few times before ruling herself out with an injury.

Earlier tonight, during the first few minutes of the show, it was also announced that Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will now face Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s tag titles.
