Injured AEW Star Was Reportedly Backstage At All Out

Injured AEW star Adam Cole was reportedly seen backstage at the recent All Out event.

This sighting has ignited speculation about the former champion’s potential return to the ring after a nearly year-long absence due to a severe ankle injury. Dave Meltzer, in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, reported the news of Cole’s backstage appearance. According to Meltzer’s report:

Adam Cole was backstage at the show and was said to be walking around fine. He never appeared and nobody was giving a return date for him.

This observation is particularly noteworthy given the severity of Cole’s injury. Cole has been sidelined since September 20th, 2023, when he suffered a serious ankle injury during an episode of AEW Dynamite. The fact that Cole was seen walking unaided is a positive sign for fans eagerly awaiting his comeback.

Cole’s presence backstage, while not resulting in an on-screen appearance, has fuelled speculation about the timeline for his return. The lack of a specific return date, as noted by Meltzer, adds an element of mystery to the situation, leaving fans to wonder if they are planning a surprise return for Cole.

What Else Has Been Said About Adam Cole’s Return To AEW?

Fightful Select previously reported that Adam Cole could be gearing up to return to AEW very soon. Whilst they did report that Cole could start training again soon for his return, no timeline was given on his training or return to in-ring action.
