The former member of Proud-N-Powerful has been sidelined for most of 2024 due to a torn pectoral muscle. Ortiz sustained the injury while teaming with Eddie Kingston against Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli on the January 20 episode of AEW Collision.

Appearing in a brief segment on Isiah Kassidy’s latest vlog, Ortiz addressed his current status and the progress he’s made in his rehabilitation. The clip, which was filmed in Milwaukee during the September 4th edition of Dynamite, captured Ortiz’s excitement as he spoke to fans about his comeback journey.

Ortiz shared, offering a hopeful outlook on his imminent return. Despite not being fully ready, he expressed confidence in his physical improvements.

I’m stronger, faster, but less flexible.

he added, signalling that while his strength and speed have progressed, he still has some work to do on his overall mobility.

Which AEW Star Recently Confirmed An Injury?

AEW star Hologram recently confirmed that he picked up an injury at the October 12th WrestleDream PPV and is expected to be out for a number of weeks. However, Hologram believes that he will only be sidelined for 2 weeks, meaning he will be available for the Full Gear PPV on November 23rd.
