Infamous Double Or Nothing 2019 Throne Restored

Cody Rhodes Breaks Triple H Throne

The Throne that was destroyed at Double or Nothing 2019 has been restored to its former glory.

Back at AEW Double or Nothing 2019, you may remember Cody Rhodes destroyed a throne which resembled the throne Triple H used in WWE, and even featured a logo as the back of the seat which is very similar to the logo of The Game. After the event, Cody stated in an interview with Chad Dukes on 106.7 The Fan, that he had done this in order to show his off his post WWE success.

Rhodes has also, in the past, said that he didn’t regret destroying the prop and that he has got a lot of admiration for Triple H as a wrestler.

The American Nightmare has now revealed that he has had the throne restored to it’s former glory, in a post on Twitter featuring his daughter Liberty sitting aloft. AEW wrestler, Nyla Rose, was evidently pleased to have seen the throne had been restored, leaving a comment for Rhodes asking why he had never let her sit on it for an Instagram photo.

He replied, stating that he has had it restored so it can now be used as a piece of memorabilia in the Nightmare Bar at this home.

Cody Rhodes has recently undergone surgery after tearing his pectoral tendon “completely off the bone”, an injury that he wrestled with against Seth Rollins at Hell in A Cell.

He only made his shock return to WWE a few months ago at Wrestlemania after wrestling his last match in AEW against Sammy Guevara in a Ladder Match for the TNT Championship in January. Since then Rhodes has been locked in a long-running program with Seth Rollins.
