On last night’s AEW Dynamite, the reigning AEW World Trios Champions Death Triangle successfully defended their championships against the team of Top Flight and Independent wrestling star AR Fox.

The trios bout featured the in-ring return of Darius Martin, who has been sidelined with injury for the majority of his tenure in AEW since making his debut in 2020.

A few months after arriving in AEW, Darius Martin suffered an ACL tear and was out of action for a year. Shortly after his return, he was then involved in a car accident, which put him back on the shelf for another seven months.

Darius finally made his in-ring return on last night’s Dynamite, alongside his brother Dante and AR Fox.

AR Fox Has Officially Been Offered An AEW Contract

Last night marked AR Fox’s AEW Dynamite debut and it appears as though the independent wrestling legend may be sticking around with the promotion for a while longer.

In a video posted on AEW’s Twitter page, Lexy Nair caught up with Top Flight and AR Fox following their loss to Death Triangle and Nair had a surprise in store for Fox.

At the end of the interview, Nair informed Fox that he has officially been offered an AEW contract by President Tony Khan.

While no official announcement has been made thus far, it is expected that Fox will indeed be signing the contract and starting up full-time with the promotion in the near future.

AR Fox has been a well-respected figure on the independent wrestling scene for some time and he is best known for his work in promotions such as CZW and Evolve. He is also considered a pioneer of the modern high-flying wrestling style.

As for Fox’s opponents on last night’s Dynamite, Death Triangle, they are set to defend their World Trios Championships this Saturday at Full Gear against the returning Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, collectively known as The Elite.
