Take a deep look into AEW Forbidden Door’s promotional advertising and you may see something you didn’t expect.
The AEW PPV has a lot to write home about following Sunday as Forbidden Door broke some records for the promotion, but also had a card that left fans talking afterwards. One of the featured fights was Kenny Omega taking on a long-standing rival with Will Ospreay and the marketing team at AEW was sure to peer through the eyes of the “Best Bout Machine.” Longtime wrestling producer Kevin Sullivan, who had a long tenure with IMPACT Wrestling, pulled back the curtain to reveal the unique twist they took in giving Forbidden Door some strong symbolism.
“This match is incredible. There are many layers to everything we produce, but check out this hidden gem. Our graphics team is next level.”

All Eyes Were On Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay At Forbidden Door
While Forbidden Door was main-evented by Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada, fans were left talking about the performance that both Omega and Ospreay put on in their bloody and brutal fight. The match featured a lot of athleticism, but the two stars were sure to tell a story full of blood and guts as well.
Omega ended up on the losing end after it took two of Ospreay‘s Stormbreaker finishers to keep “The Cleaner” down for three to become the new IWGP United States Champion, but also had a bit of a helping hand from “The Invisibile Hand” Don Callis. Kenny’s former friend fed Ospreay a screwdriver to jab in the skull of Kenny, but that wasn’t enough to take the former AEW World Champion out.
