Incredible footage of Brock Lesnar celebrating his WWE Championship win at Day 1 with fans has emerged on social media.
Brock Lesnar was added to the Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Championship only hours before Day 1 began. He was originally set to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the event, but on the day of the show Reigns announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19 so was unable to compete.
WWE then announced that ‘The Conquerer’ would join Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley in challenging Big E for the WWE Championship.
The match was a hard-hitting and frantic affair from start to finish. In the early going, Lesnar overpowered Rollins and Owens but was eventually levelled by Big E and then Speared through the barricade by Lashley.
When he returned to the ring, Lesnar delivered F-5’s to Owens, Rollins and Big E. However, Lashley put an end to the rampage with a Spear for a near-fall before hooking in the Hurt Lock.
Big E was able to break up the hold, saving his championship in the process, before being felled by another huge F-5 enabling Lesnar to get the pinfall and capture the gold.
Now, footage of Lesnar celebrating with fans after the match has been posted on Twitter, with ‘The Beast’ putting on his best angry face as he posed for a photo with them. You can view the video below:
