Just seconds before his Sheamus was due to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship the Irish star was left stunned by the arrival of Imperium!
At WWE Clash At The Castle Sheamus already knew he was in for the fight of his life as he prepared to take on Intercontinental Champion Gunther. However, just moments before the match began, that task got a little bit harder.
With the brawling Brutes waiting in the ring, Ludwig Kaiser prepared to do his traditional introduction for the champion but began by introducing Giovanni Vinci and Imperium!

Gunther, Vinci (Fabian Aichner) and Kaiser joined forces in WWE back in 2019 while the giant Austrian was in the midst of his record-breaking United Kingdom Championship reign. For the next three years the trio were a dominant force across NXT UK and NXT in the United States.
However, when Gunther arrived on the main roster in April 2022 he did so with only Kaiser (formerly known as Marcel Barthel) by his side.
After walking out on his tag team partner Barthel in on the April 5th episode of NXT, Fabian Aichner disappeared from television before being repackaged as Giovanni Vinci a month later.
Vinci challenged for the NXT North American Championship at NXT Heatwave on August 16th but was unsuccessful. The match proved to be his last action before reforming Imperium alongside Gunther and Kaiser in Cardiff.
