IMPACT Wrestling have announced that a new event, Victory Road, will take place on October 3rd.
The show will feature an IMPACT World Championship rematch between Eric Young and Eddie Edwards in the main event.
Victory Road airs just three weeks before Bound For Glory, where Young is scheduled to defend his IMPACT World Championship against Rich Swann. Young’s respective rivalries with both men go all the way back to the World Class Maniac’s return at Slammiversary.
Inside The Ropes caught up with both Eric Young and Rich Swann yesterday. We asked both men for their thoughts on the Bound For Glory main event. Swann commented on Young losing his “sanity” interestingly, and the pair barbed before Young emphasised his thoughts on IMPACT being the best wrestling promotion, and proclaiming himself to be the greatest professional wrestling in the world today.
You can read what Young and Swann had to say here.
