IMPACT Tease Chelsea Green Return At Slammiversary

IMPACT Wrestling’s Slammiversary show is set to be one of the hottest tickets of the weekend, with several recently released former WWE stars expected to debut.

Former Knockouts Champion Chelsea Green is the latest in a long line of teases from the company, who have seemingly set up a return for the artist formerly known as Laurel Van Ness.

On the most recent episode of IMPACT television, Green’s real-life husband Matt Cardona sought to continue his feud with former tag team partner Brian Myers.

However, Myers had a trick up his sleeve, as Cardona’s ex-girlfriend Tenille Dashwood surprised the Long Island native with a low blow and thus aligned herself with Myers.

Backstage, IMPACT’s Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore approached Cardona, asking if he felt he could find a female tag team partner to face Myers and Dashwood at Sunday’s pay per view.

The former Zack Ryder replied, stating that the event would be ‘perfect timing’ before D’Amore quipped that Slammiversary was going to be a ‘hot mess’.

This is, of course, a nod to Green’s previous run with the company, where she portrayed the ‘Hot Mess’ Laurel Van Ness.
