Bobby Lashley still wants a match with Brock Lesnar. The WWE United States Champion responded to a fan on Twitter who was clamouring to see the two face-off.
Lashley wrote:
“Once I’m done taking out this Brock wannabe, as I’ve said for YEARS, I’ll take Lesnar whenever, wherever.”

The ‘Brock wannabe’ that Lashley was referring to is Matt Riddle, who he is currently feuding with on Raw. After defeating Riddle to retain his United States Championship, Riddle challenged Lashley’s ‘Hurt Business’ teammate MVP. This match ended in disqualification when Lashley interfered. This new comment from Lashley suggests that the feud will continue on, possibly until the Royal Rumble event. Lashley has, however, been announced for the 30-man Royal Rumble match itself.
Bobby Lashley, much like Brock Lesnar, has had a stellar MMA career. His contract with Bellator came to an end in October 2020 and his professional fight record stands at 17 wins and 2 losses. Lesnar, famously, would go to the UFC during his hiatus from wrestling. There he defeated MMA legend, Randy Couture, to capture the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
Brock Lesnar has not appeared in WWE since his match against Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 36. There he lost the WWE Championship to the Scotsman.
Bobby Lashley has found renewed success in WWE since teaming up with MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander as ‘The Hurt Business.’ He began his second reign as WWE United States Champion in August 2020 after defeating Apollo Crews at Payback.
