“I’ll See You All In Early 2025”: AEW Wrestler Recently Underwent Surgery

AEW Star Shares Positive Update Following Surgery

One AEW and ROH star is out of action for the rest of the year.

On August 23rd, Nick Comoroto took to social media to reveal that he’d undergone hip surgery and would be out of action until 2025. He wrote:

Hey guys, I recently just got my hip resurfaced. I was wrestling on one leg for nearly two years. It’s gonna feel amazing to be able walk my dogs again. I’ll see you all in early 2025. #AEW #AEWDynamite #ROH

The star last wrestled on August 11th at a Ring of Honor Taping, suffering a loss to Lee Johnson.

Why Did Nick Comoroto’s Former AEW Faction Disband?

After a short stint in WWE developmental, Comoroto joined All Elite Wrestling in 2020. In early 2021, he aligned himself with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall, joining the Nightmare Family.

In March of 2021, however, the star joined some fellow students in helping QT Marshall turn on the Nightmare Family, forming a new faction called The Factory. The group would remain together until 2023, when QT Marshall announced that The Factory had disbanded due to criticism from “industry experts.” Marshall wrote on social media:

“We did some fun stuff. Unfortunately, the amount of Factory hate from the “experts” in wrestling was too much and the group had to disband. But keep your eyes on @BigShottyLee @realcolekarter @AaronSoloAEW @Mr_Freakbeast”

When another user suggested there could have been a break-up match to explain the dissolution on TV, Marshall said it wasn’t needed and he just wants to see the former members flourish.

“Not needed. I want those guys to go flourish like I know they will.”
