Following a recent report suggesting John Cena is “almost a lock” for WrestleMania 37, Triple H has opened up about the status of the 16-time World Champion ahead of the Show of Shows.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, The Game revealed how John Cena WILL appear – if there is a way for him to do so.
“I won’t put words in John’s mouth, but I can speak to his passion, and it’s WWE and WrestleMania. Once you do this at a high level, and John does it at the highest, it’s very hard to put down. If there is a way for him to be there, he will be there.”
John Cena’s last WWE appearance was at WrestleMania 36, competing in the critically-acclaimed Firefly FunHouse Match against Bray Wyatt. There had been speculation following that as to whether Cena would step back in the WWE ring, but with Cena being part of the WrestleMania announcement as the iconic Hugh Kantseeme – alongside Triple H’s words – seems to suggest that we may very well see the 16-time World Champion back on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
