“I Think We Can Do This”: Chris Jericho Names His Greatest Gamble

Chris Jericho, a man of many talents in the world of entertainment, recently discussed his various endeavours and revealed his proudest achievement.

During an interview on The Allison Hagendorf Show, Chris Jericho expressed his gratitude for having a diverse range of opportunities and a supportive fanbase that trusts him to explore these different ventures. He emphasised that he engages in creative projects for the experience and not solely for financial gain.

Among his many accomplishments, Jericho highlighted the success of the Jericho Cruise as a standout achievement. The concept of a wrestling-themed cruise was initiated by Jericho himself after being inspired by his participation in the Kiss cruise in 2015 with his band, Fozzy. Upon docking, he immediately called his manager, who became his partner in this ambitious venture and shared his idea to bring professional wrestling to the open sea.

I think one of my favourite things that I’ve been able to do is the Jericho Cruise, that’s been cool. We did the Kiss cruise in 2015 with Fozzy and as soon as we docked, I called my manager who’s my partner on the cruise and said, ‘I’ve got an idea, I think we can do this.

In 2018, the first Jericho Cruise set sail, featuring professional wrestling matches and a unique innovation trademarked by Jericho’s team. They utilised large cubes of water beneath the wrestling ring to ensure the safety of the performers. This concept resonated with fans and has led to the successful organisation of three additional cruises, with plans already underway for a fifth instalment in 2024.
