Hulk Hogan’s Final WWE Appearance Left Him Devastated, Admits Best Friend

Hulk Hogan's Final WWE Appearance

Hulk Hogan’s best friend reveals that The Hulkster’s final WWE appearance left him devastated.

The Hall of Famer made his final appearance for the WWE on the Netflix debut of RAW. While usually the wrestling icon gets a thunderous response, this time it was the opposite scenario.

To the surprise of many fans, the audience in the Intuit Dome mercilessly booed him, which, according to his best friend Jimmy Hart, who accompanied him to the event, left the Hall of Famer devastated.

Jimmy Hart Speaks About Hulk Hogan’s Reaction To Getting Booed At His Final WWE Appearance

Speaking on a recent episode of the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw Podcast, The Mouth of the South said that they expected mixed reactions going in, but he would be surprised if the boos outdid the cheers.

Hart continued that, however, when they went out, the boos were much louder than they expected, something that left Hulk Hogan surprised and dejected.

The legendary manager adds that when Hogan asked him the reason, Hart reasoned with him that since Los Angeles was primarily a Blue State, his political leanings and support of Trump would be the reason for this negative reaction.

He then says that in the next appearance the duo did in Texas, Hogan was cheered, but he was always bothered by the reaction he got in his WWE appearance in LA. He said:

“So we go out, we kind of get a mixed reaction, you know. And you know this, you can have 500 people cheering you and one person booing you, but I’ll be darn if that one person boo outshine the 500 cheering for you. You know how that works, right? So we go out. So it’s kind of a mixed reaction, but it’s a little bit more boos than anything. But that devastated him.

And we got in the back, and he said, ‘What do you think happened?’ I said, ‘Hulk, it’s simple. Blue State, red state, Trump fans.’ I said, ‘I mean, really?’ I said, ‘I’m okay with it.’ He goes, ‘What do you think?’ And I said, ‘I’m okay. I felt like I was managing the Hart Foundation against the British Bulldogs or the Killer Bees or somebody.’ So, I didn’t, you know, I’m like, ‘Whoa, I’m waving more. They boo.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah!’ But that bothered him because of that. And I said, ‘Well, surely people are going to realize what that was for.’ Then the next week we’re in Texas and it’s all cheers, you know. But that always bothered him.”
