Heartfelt gesture from Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, present at SummerSlam.
Last week, on July 24, it was shockingly announced that Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71 due to a heart attack in his hometown of Clearwater, Florida. Fans and professionals were quick to pay tribute to the two-time Hall of Famer. and WWE themselves honored his memory on several shows since his passing, including SummerSlam 2025.
Before Randy Orton and Jelly Roll took on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, WWE paid tribute to Hulk Hogan once more. Headed by Michael Cole with Wade Barrett, they noted that The Hulkster was undefeated at SummerSlam and shared the ring with the likes of Randy Orton, Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, and more.
During the tribute, Nick Hogan was shown in the audience, where he was visibly emotional as he wore the colors of his father, Red and Yellow. However, the Hall of Famer’s son also did more than just watch the action at SummerSlam.
According to Andrew Baydala on X (Twitter), Nick was seated by him, and fans mobbed him when he got up to offer their condolences. Andrew noted that Nick talked to everybody, and it has already been over 100 people.

Nick Hogan Speaks On His Father, Hulk Hogan’s, Death
After the news of The Hulkster’s death, Nick released a message on Instagram a few days later where he thanked everybody for reaching out and comforting him, and apologized for not being able to respond as he was overwhelmed, but he felt touched knowing his father inspired a lot of people.
Nick noted that Hulk was the most incredible person and would always be his hero, and he feels blessed to have him as his mentor and best friend. He is thankful for everything the WWE legend did for him and noted they spent a lot of time since Nick moved back to Florida.
Finally, Nick ended the message by saying he would do everything to bring back his father, but he feels comforted knowing Hulk Hogan is watching over him now. Nick thanked his father for being the best dad and friend, finalizing it by saying he loved the Hall of Famer.
