Hulk Hogan has given his thoughts on the comments Bret Hart has made in various interviews.
Never one to hold back his feelings in interviews, The Hitman has been very vocal about the lows of his career including his time in WCW and the infamous match against Goldberg that ultimately brought his in-ring career to a premature end. Additionally, Bret Hart spoke about Vince McMahon in a 2024 interview and said that the former WWE Chairman should “Rot in Hell.”
While appearing on Logan Paul’s Impaulsivepodcast, Hogan was praised by Paul before Hogan responded that there are “a few haters out there.” Hogan was then asked if Hart was one of the haters and why he was “so bitter”, to which Hogan responded that Hart hates any people in the wrestling business:
“Bret hates everybody. If it’s not me, it’s Flair, it’s Vince. ‘I’ll never work for Vince again after what happened to my family’, and then he’s back. It just never ends with him. I love Bret to death, man. I started with Bret. I remember when I was in Atlanta, I was in the business for about three years, and I was like 330 pounds, almost 340. I just remember Bret used to live across the hall from me when I was working for Channel 17, Crockett promotion, that I was so big.
I’d wrestle three guys at once, so I’d pick all three of them up in a bear hug and just ragdoll them. Bret was one of them, but we were just all getting started so it was all fun, but then we got rolling, and man, he says I destroyed his career. You know, it’s like, okay, all right, whatever. I just don’t get it, man, because I love him to death. He’s a good guy and he was a great asset to the business.”
Paul then interjected and stated that he thought it was sad that Hart is so negative all the time, to which Hogan said that The Hitman should be more positive:
“Similar vibes and similar energy, like attracts like. When you talk like that, you attract more hatred and that negativity. It’s not good man. It’s time to switch up and be positive and happy and love people.”
Hulk Hogan Makes Bizarre Pitch
During his appearance on the podcast, Hogan discussed Paul’s career on top of his own time inside the squared circle. In terms of the WWE star’s trajectory, Hulk Hogan pitched a strangle angle that he believed would turn Logan Paul babyface.
Also in the interview, the Hall of Famer stated that they recently signed a 5-year contract.
