Hulk Hogan Rumor Killers, New Details On The Hulkster’s Status

Two-time Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan speaks to the WWE Universe

Hulk Hogan will always be synonymous with pro wrestling and will always be a viral news-maker in the industry. The Hulkster’s health has been a hot topic of discussion lately, with reckless rumors and concerning speculations making the rounds. Hogan’s wife was forced to issue a clarification on the matter, dismissing some chatter and providing an update on his situation.

Bubba the Love Sponge fueled immense concern last month when he claimed The Immortal One was on his deathbed. The long-time friends had a controversial falling out over the Gawker se* tape debacle more than a decade ago, and have never patched up. TMZ quickly dismissed Bubba’s viral claims not long after he made them, and a source claimed the six-time WWE Champion was admitted to the hospital to address lingering back and neck issues.

While the 71-year-old was dealing with the same nagging ailments he’s battled for years, Hogan’s rep noted that he was not close to dying, and was already back to moving around on his own after undergoing what was then described as a “minor neck fusion surgery” just over a month prior.

The rumors and social media chatter on Hogan’s health have continued. The talk picked back up this week, so much that his wife, Sky Daily Hogan, felt the need to address the matter.

Hulk Hogan’s Wife Sky Daily Provides Health Update

Hulk Hogan tied the knot for the third time on September 22, 2023, after yoga instructor Sky Daily said “yes” months earlier at actor Corin Nemec’s wedding reception. She has been fairly visible on social media, is regularly seen at public events with The Hulkster, and joins him in interacting with fans at his establishment in Tampa.

A fan took to Mrs. Hogan’s Instagram and responded to a photo of her and The Hulkster at UFC Fight Night in December 2024. Addressing the ongoing social media speculations about Hogan’s health, the Hulkamaniac asked in the comments section if it was true that the 71-year-old was in a coma and dying. Hogan’s wife was quick to respond and dismissed the talk, while providing an actual update on how he’s been.

“No, he’s definitely not in a coma! His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage… none of those rumors are true. He’s been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process. If you look it up, you’ll see what the last six weeks have involved… not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery. We’ve been in and out of the hospital to support that recovery. So truly, there’s no need for the drama or panic some people try to stir up. He’s healing, and we’re taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience,” wrote Sky Daily.
