WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan says former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal could be considered “the new generation Hulk Hogan” if he got the right push.
A controversial figure in recent years, Hulk Hogan is no doubt a wrestling icon who helped revolutionise the business in the eighties as the figurehead of Vince McMahon’s WWF. As Hulkamania withered in the early nineties, Hogan took his talents to WCW where he revolutionised the business all over again as part of the New World Order with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
With a high bar for any wrestler to be considered “the next Hulk Hogan,” the man himself has named someone that could potentially live up to that moniker.
Hogan took to social media to show a photo of him with Mahal at his Hogan’s Beach Shop in Tampa, Florida and added that with the right momentum behind him Jinder Mahal could be the next Hulkster:
“The old school respect with the new school #JinderMahal physicality,he’s a bad man brother, with the right push he could be the new generation Hulk Hogan,he’s got it all brother!!!! #hogansbeachshop #clearwaterbeach”
Jinder Mahal captured the only WWE Championship of his career so far back in 2017. Recently, The Modern Day Maharaja has been doing battle with his former 3MB partner Drew McIntyre ahead of the Scotsman getting his hands on Happy Corbin at WrestleMania 38.
