Hulk Hogan Appearance “Not Out Of The Question” As WWE Plans To Celebrate Major Anniversary

Hulk Hogan Appearance

Hulk Hogan could be making a return to TV in the near future.

2024 marks 40 years since Hogan won his first World Championship, defeating The Iron Sheik inside Madison Square Garden on January 23rd 1984 to become the 9th wrestler to hold the prestigious title.

The date is recognised as the start of Hulkamania and began The Hulkster’s journey to being known as one of the most famous wrestlers of all time. According to a new report, the company are looking to make a big deal out of the anniversary.

According to WrestleVotes, new merchandise and collectables will be released to mark 40 years of Hulkamania. While an appearance by Hogan is not currently planned at the time of writing, it is still a possibility:

WWE plans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hulkamania this month with various new merchandise items & collectibles for Hulk Hogan. I’m told an appearance by Hogan is not out of the question but also not planned as of now. The recognized start of Hulkamania has generally been when he defeated the Iron Sheik for his 1st WWE Championship on 1/23/1984.

As January 23rd 2024 falls on a Tuesday, it is unlikely that a Hogan appearance would happen on the day itself as no main roster programming would take place on that day and a Hogan NXT appearance is very unlikely.

Hogan last appeared on Raw XXX to celebrate 30 years of the Monday night show alongside multiple legends and Hall of Famers.

Hulk Hogan’s Wish May Come True

Back in September 2023, Hulk Hogan stated that he wanted to see The Rock return for one more match. Judging by the events that took place on January 1st when The Rock made another surprise return to WWE and called out Roman Reigns, this now appears to be more of a reality than a fantasy.
