Huge Winner-Takes-All Match Announced For WWE NXT Roadblock

Two champions are set to collide at the upcoming WWE NXT Roadblock special on March 11th with the winner walking away a double champion.

In the opening match of the February 25th broadcast, Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer successfully defended her title against Karmen Petrovic in what was her first defence.

The celebration was cut short by NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, who made her way to the ring after the match to confront Vaquer. After congratulating Vaquer on her victory, Giulia questioned if she was the best champion on the NXT roster, to which Vaquer responded that she was the champion of champions.

Wanting to prove once and for all who was the better champion, Vaquer laid down the challenge for a champion vs. champion match with both titles on the line, which Giulia accepted. It was later confirmed that the winner-takes-all match would take place at the upcoming Roadblock special on March 11th, which will air live from The Theatre in Madison Square Garden.

WWE NXT Loads Up The Card For Roadblock Special

On top of the highly anticipated showdown between Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer, two more matches were also announced for the upcoming special, each featuring stars from the TNA roster. After X-Division Champion Moose defeated Lexis King, the TNA star was interrupted by Oba Femi, who agreed to put his title on the line against Moose at the upcoming special.

The show also saw the long-awaited return of The Hardys, who defeated No Quarter Catch Crew’s Myles Borne and Tavion Heights in their first WWE match since 2019. Following the victory, NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom confronted The Hardys with both teams teasing a future match against each other. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella interrupted the segment and made the match between The Hardys and Fraxiom official for Roadblock with the TNA Tag Team Championships at stake.
